March 12, 2021ONIT Sciences is pleased to announce it will enter field trials for ONIT Grow™, ONIT Input Plus™ and ONIT Input™ products on four farms operated by PCI Investments in Belize. The farms’ operators plan on testing ONIT Sciences products on sugar cane, bananas, avocados, coco, coffee, citrus and corn.
“This is an incredible opportunity to prove the value of our products to Belizean farmers on their most important crops,” stated ONIT Sciences’ president, Jeff Moses. “I am very confident that these field trials will result in the kinds of increases in plant health, yield and pest resistance shown in prior tests in similar climates.”
David Kafka, a principal of PCI Investments, is overseeing the field trials of ONIT Sciences products.
“We have been looking for organic solutions to increase plant health and yield while reducing water and nutrient usage,” stated Mr. Kafka. “Our goal is to use ONIT Sciences’ products on farms we own and operate initially, then pursue distribution of ONIT product throughout Belize and neighboring countries.”
