ONIT Sciences, a cannabis and hemp focused agriculture technology company, is expanding its reach to include all major cannabis and hemp producing regions in the United States. This effort involves registering the company’s flagship product, ONIT Grow™, for sale as an approved agricultural input. ONIT Grow™ is currently registered for sale in the following states:

“As demand for high-quality, organically grown plants used to produce medical-grade CBD increases, so does ONIT’s focus on states showing the highest potential to meet demand,” noted ONIT president Kevin Woodbridge. “As an example, the amount of hemp grown in Tennessee is about to increase by nearly tenfold, from 4,700 acres in 2018, to an estimated 38,000 acres in 2019, according to data from the Tennessee Hemp Growers Coalition.”
Tobacco-belt states are rushing to convert farmlands to hemp fields, while Northeastern states, like Maine and Massachusetts, represent very strong growth in the home- and boutique-grower segments. In fact, The Maine Office of Marijuana Policy held the public hearing about the state’s draft recreational marijuana rules. One dispensary owner echoed the sentiments of many in the state, commenting, “Maine doesn’t need 10 marijuana companies with 500 employees. It needs 500 marijuana companies with 10 employees.” Production and demand in this market is just as vigorous as in California or Colorado, where larger growers are the rule. ONIT is utilizing a network of influencers, social media campaigns and targeted advertising in top publications to build brand awareness and acceptance in these markets.
