In response to the rapidly increasing demand for ONIT Sciences’ products from organic food and commodities farmers, distributors and applicators, the company has sought and obtained registration with the agriculture departments in the top 30 farming states in the country. Registration is pending in five more states, with approvals expected over the next 60 days.
“Growing demand has necessitated the expansion of our registration efforts. Almost every state’s agriculture department requires that companies producing inputs, such as plant enhancers, fertilizers, soil conditioners, etc., register those products before offering them for sale within the state,” explained Dennis Locke, chief operating officer and head of registration and compliance with ONIT. “Registration is one of the most important aspects of being market-ready as these product orders build from organic farmers.”
Management is currently negotiating with potential sales and distribution partners to support our market expansion in these states. The company looks forward to announcing distribution agreements soon. Orders from food and commodities farmers are on track to outpace those from cannabis growers by the end of the year.
