Farm Bill agreement allows nationwide hemp cultivation for any use – including CBD

On December 10, 2018, the House-Senate panel approved the current Farm Bill, legalizing hemp cultivation and production of hemp-derived products, including CBD. The Bill goes to formal vote later this week and could be on the President’s desk by Friday.

By legalizing the industrial production of hemp and hemp-derived products like CBD, the industry will gain access to:

• Banking and other financial services
• Investment capital
• Advertising and marketing
• Crop insurance
